In the midst of moving :::again::: I can't imagine packing any more kitchen items, though I do fancy these ceramics by Marianne Hallberg. It's like the pricey but classic Burleigh Ware my mum loves, with a modern edge.
I love the photos of this big open space broken up by those blocks of cubbies I've seen used to transform spaces of all shapes and sizes. I also like the white and beige backdrop with smaller pops of color. Love it.
On a recent trip to England I took no photos of any family. Or of London. Or friends. But I did take on pic of a jellyfish that washed ashore in Liverpool at Crosby Beach. Also, I took a few photos of Antony Gormley's eerie cast-iron figures which seem to be walking out to sea...
speaking of great Portland restaurants, I'll be dangerously close to Duck Fat... the amazing french fries ("Belgian Fries") are... wait for it... fried in duck fat. They have a simple menu and a small seating area, but the wait is worth it.
Oh, and the beignets. Fancy donuts. Another amazing fried indulgence.
